This is a portrait of my cat Luna. She’s a 2.5 year old tabby who started out life as a barn kitty. I adopted her and her brother Cosmo Kramer. They have finally outgrown their curtain-climbing ways but are still really playful and sweet, and yes, still a little wild. Since I feed birds they are indoor cats, but they love watching the action thru the windows.

This fuchsia color with turquoise highlights really seems to capture Luna’s wild personality. If you like this style, I should let you know that I do commissions too. I’ll paint your dogs, cats, horses and even painted a dragonfly for a client. They make a wonderful gift to yourself or a friend or family member.
